the river black the mountain black the water carving crevasses plunging down sheer the sulci of a mind undisturbed moving and unseen the body of all gods extracted engorging the faulted bed and deepest trench civilisations swim here unalive with memory distributed as vital as the writhing blood a secret holds dominion here of undivined and untaught coda of the measures and the measurements of mind the land tilled here the local soil wells deep too of bone-fine calcites and memory of near-ancients heaped upon ancients piled upon primitives upon a satin bed of rudimentals and beneath it the essential mind the instructions of this spinning disc upon its axle wheel in gaseous and vacuous everness
